Welcome to Dane Outreach

VOLUNTEER

Dane Outreach always welcomes people with time and energy to share. We always need foster homes! People can help in other ways, too, although some areas require prior significant experience with Danes. Here is a list of what some of the Dane Outreach volunteers do:

Screening and bringing a dog into the program
Screening potential individuals to adopt (often involving a home visit)
Transporting dogs, food and medical supplies
Providing Foster Care
Application screening and placement
Answering calls and inquiries
Mailing out information
Attending events and manning the Dane Outreach Information Booth
Fund Raising
And a variety of other tasks.
